Join Gregory Adamson for very a special artists' cruise for 7 days to Mexico aboard Royal Caribbean's beautifully elegant Mariner of the Seas ship. The cruise departs San Pedro on Nov. 7. Greg will conduct a 3 day onboard artist's workshop on days the ship is at sea. There will also be opportunities to experience the art and culture of Mexico. Participants will also have access to the full spectrum of wonderful activities and indulgences offered to all guests aboard the ship.

The workshop hours will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a lunch break from 12 to 1.  During the morning sessions, Greg will demonstrate and give a lesson for the day, including handouts.  Then everyone will paint.  The afternoon sessions will be all painting time, during which participants will get plenty individual guidance and critiques.

On one of the workshop days, Greg will give a talk, during which he will share about his journey and experiences as a painter/ performance artist, he will discuss his working methods, and he will show and discuss samples of his work.  He will even discuss his approach to art marketing, including successes and setbacks.  Workshop participants are welcome to bring their non-painting partners to this talk.

The group will be able to dine together with Greg aboard the ship during which there will be plenty of opportunity for everyone to socialize and bond with fellow artists.

Greg likes to say that he takes his art very seriously, but doesn't take himself too seriously.  He conducts his workshops with good humor and creates a very positive, nurturing environment that will enhance learning and will help to ignite your creativity.   He believes painting should be foremost, a fun and liberating experience.  That is why he always paints with music.  If you are are not having fun while painting, then let Greg help you to modify your approach and/or your attitude.  This workshop is for all artists, from beginners to the more experienced, who want to paint more boldly and expressively.  This workshop will help artists overcome their fears of color, bold compostion, painting larger and taking risks.

What could be better that combining an instructive and inspiring art experience with a magical vacation aboard an elegant and fun-filled resort ship!
